Bio

Jen Cooke started singing barbershop music at a young age with her mom, dad, and sister, in Marion, OH. She brought this love of four-part harmony with her to Nashville, TN, where she currently lives with her husband, Chris, who is an  accomplished musician.

Jen is a member of Sweet Adelines, International (SA), Harmony Incorporated (HI), and the Barbershop Harmony Society (BHS). She sings lead with the internationally-ranked chorus (SA), Song of Atlanta Show Chorus, quartet (SA), Presto!, quartet (HI) Just Sayin’, and chorus (BHS) Great River Voices. Jen has achieved the level of Certified Director (SA), and she is the front-line director with Scenic City Chorus (SA) and Music City Sound (HI).

Jen currently serves on the Region 4 and Region 14 Music Faculties (SA), and has been a part of the teaching community in the HIVE (HI) and Harmony University (BHS).

Jen provides private voice instruction and coaching in all three barbershop organizations, along with creating learning tracks and serving on various committees. She is passionate about contributing to musical journeys, while supporting singers in healthy, free singing.
