Bio
Jen Cooke started singing barbershop music at a young age with her mom, dad, and sister, in Marion, OH. She brought this love of four-part harmony with her to Nashville, TN, where she joined Sweet Adelines, International, in 2000. She continues to live in Nashville with her husband, Chris, who is an accomplished musician. Jen sang lead with the TuneTown Show Chorus from 2000 to 2012, where she also served as lead section leader, member of the music and directing teams, and chair of the education team. She currently sings with the internationally-ranked chorus, Song of Atlanta Show Chorus. Jen sings lead with the Region 14 Sweet Adelines champion quartet, Presto! and Area 5 Harmony, Inc. champion quartet Swing Theory. Jen has achieved the level of Certified Director, through Sweet Adelines, International, and she has been a front-line director with the Scenic City Chorus since the fall of 2009. Jen currently serves on the Sweet Adelines Region 4 Music Faculty, and has served as the Region 4 Education Coordinator in the past. At the International level, Jen has served on the YWIHPC as member and moderator, as an elected member of the International Board of Directors, and as membership liaison on the Regional Leadership Committee. She has also provided learning tracks for the Medium-Level Contest Folios (I and II), the YWIH Contest Folio, and has provided tracks for International events, such as AHA and the SAI Family Choruses.
